Yes, you can install most **Linux distributions** on a SKIKK laptop. Many of our customers choose to install **Ubuntu** themselves, and during configuration, we also offer several Linux options for pre-installation.

⚠️ However, **technical support for Linux is offered on a best-effort basis**. While we love open-source, full compatibility depends on external factors:

*   Some **new features** (e.g. keyboard lighting, fan control, or power management) may not work right away on newer models.
    
*   **NVIDIA GPUs** may not be fully supported during the first few months after release due to delays in driver updates.
    
*   Support is dependent on **Linux kernel updates** and vendor driver availability—not something SKIKK can control directly.
